Could use some finish sanding - some rustic rougher edges - some void spots present- some knots may be present - beautiful rustic figure throughout - some stress cracks - some planer striations - not jointed - beautiful reclaimed lumber - edges are not jointed - they are sawmill edges - some rustic stress cracks/wormy edges may be present - reclaimed - imperfections present and may not be perfectly flat - a few wormy areas

At ohiowoodlands, we air dry our material 3-4 years before kiln drying. We generally kiln dry 1 month per inch of thickness. Our material is very stable. In over 19 years we have never had a return due to moisture or movement - please use caution when purchasing thicker mantel material - adequate time is needed to properly dry thick material. We average 3-6 years from when a log is milled to the time it has been properly air/kiln dried and available for sale.
Please do not hesitate to ask the seller about their drying process. Your statement piece deserves to be properly dried.
